As the artist behind “Rooted in Gold,” my
intention was to showcase the stunning
beauty of the bluebonnet, a wildflower that
blooms in the hill country during springtime.
The painting features a stylized bluebonnet
with shimmering gold roots, highlighting the
critical role that roots play in sustaining and
supporting these plants.
