Waxed and un-waxed
plain rolled triangle
Let your beads cool completely before beads without any
adding metallic paste metallic enhancement

Your rolled beads can be waxed with or
without a fiber wrap – try both and see
what you like

Hold your bead over the pan as you are
waxing and let the wax drip back into
the pan

Combine and layer colors of the metallic
wax you use on the beads

Cylinder beads,
wrapped with sari
silk, waxed and
enhanced

Rolling, wrapping, waxing and gilding beads is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

It’s astonishing to see how many variations in shape and texture you can come up with.
And just think of how many ways you can use them! Tie them into silk hair ribbons, add
them to a journal wrap, string them for a bracelet. It’s had to believe they are just paper.
