CAROLYN DAHL
HOUSTON
Do the flowers I grow in my garden make a difference to
butterfly populations’ survival? Do the 200 butterflies I raise in
a good year matter? I have to believe that any action we take
to conserve nature’s intricate ecologies, to prevent habitat
loss, and to slow the impact of development is important.
Through these artworks I express my concern for butterflies,
but I am asking everyone: what things matter to you, what do
you want to see continue in our world if nature is to survive
our actions.
