WALKING ON THE WILD SIDE

             “Expand your thinking”, she says.
How to take the thing, an object, an

image beyond the field into, what?

             Metaphor
Beyond the field into the Wild part
             of Wildflower.

Wild free times in the studio
I took a handful of rose petals, fallen Time goes by unnoticed.

from the rose bouquet, Work takes on a life of its own.
             Tossed them into the air.

They floated down, down, down I become the vehicle for the work,
onto the table. but it seems someone else is holding

The sun took over. the brush.

The rose, both domesticated and Believe.

wild, made a connection for me, Both the domestic
to people, our art, and the wild.

the environment. Together make the best art.

Take the time. Let us go,
Nature presents both sides to us. become like the wildflowers,
                                                                   which bloom for themselves,

This wild, playful, unexplored side each one
cries out to become more a part of perfect,

             us, transitory,
Where is it now? and beautiful.

Is it getting translated into your art?
