A Special Report And Thank You From

                                    The Women’s E Connect Group

A special thanks to Cornerstone and friends for enabling Women's E members to collect our Clothing Drive do-
nations. The CBC staff was so helpful and the classroom was an ideal and convenient location. When I shared
the results of our Love Offering Project with members of Women's E, Sister Vera asked that I share this infor-
           mation with you.

Women's E Connect Group members selected Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex as this year’s recipient of
our annual Love Offering Project. Because of the pandemic, the organization has experienced a dramatic in-
crease in requests for clothing and personal items, while the supply of requested items was at an all-time
low. Women's E members stepped in to replenish supplies by holding a Clothing Drive. Sonja Fowler and Ora
Woods coordinated the effort. Members of our class accepted, inspected, sorted and packaged the donated
           items.

Our Clothing Drive was a tremendous success. We collected 3,360 items (2,960 clothing items; 400 personal
care items). There were hundreds of clothing items for males and females ranging in sizes from infants to
adults. There were more than 150 winter coats/jackets. Many clothing items had the original price tag at-
tached!!! The personal care items included dental hygiene items, lotions, shampoo, etc.

The only "small" problem that we experienced with this project was the size of the truck. When the first Mission
Arlington truck arrived, the driver was amazed at the volume of items and realized the truck was too small!!! A
large panel truck was dispatched immediately to collect our items. Praise God!!!

Mission Arlington representative Debbie Musgrave was the contact person for this project. She has expressed
her sincere appreciation for our ef-
                                                                                 forts.

We are pleased that our Love Offer-
ing Project will bless many families
in our community for Christmas and
                                                                                 beyond.
