Larry Dell Alexander was born in Dermott, AR, on May 30, 1953 to the
late Janie and Robert Alexander, Sr. He confessed hope in Christ at an ear-
ly age and was baptized at St Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Dermott under the leadership
of the late Rev. Dr. C.B. Knox. Larry attended Chicot County Public Schools, where he graduated
high school in 1971, and went on to study architecture at what is now SEARK College in Pine
        Bluff.

In 1973, Larry moved to Detroit, MI, where he met the love of his life and soulmate, Patricia
Eberhardt, while working at Sperry Vickers. He and Patricia shared 43 years together that took
them from Michigan to Texas to Arkansas. This union was blessed with one son and three
daughters and a lifetime of adventure.

While in Texas, Larry revisited his childhood talent for art and fully developed as an American
artist, preferring acrylic paint and various pen and ink techniques. He depicted the African

American experience the experiences of people throughout American history. His artwork is
displayed in the homes of art patrons from numerous walks of life, geographic regions, and
economic backgrounds. In addition to having works of art at the Southeast Arts and Science
Center in Pine Bluff, his personal rendition of a “Clinton Family Portrait” painting is part of the
permanent collection at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock. Larry also spent a dec-
ade touring schools in Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi exposing young students to the world of
art and perhaps even triggering in many students a passion to

        pursue art as a career.

As passionate as Larry was about his art, he was even more
passionate about leading souls to Christ and teaching practical
biblical lessons for daily living, ever increasing faith, and spiritu-
al growth. He was an anointed and gifted Sunday School Sunday
teacher. His lessons can be viewed on blogspot.com as well as

YouTube and garner over a quarter million weekly followers.
Additionally, Larry wrote home and church bible study com-
mentaries for almost every book in the Bible.
