CUBA Missions
Isaiah 6:8 -- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom
shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send
me!
Global servant leaders Roberto & Mayra Cepeda, in faith and obedience, have confirmed an un-
planned mission trip to Cuba, Sept. 1-12, 2022.
The call made from Cuban Pastors and their families for immediate relief given a deteriorating economy
and the state of Pastors literally walking away from longstanding ministries is taking an undesired toll on
Pastoral families.
THE REQUEST – The Cepeda’s have received a priority list of items that will provide immediate relief
and to help expand the church’s evangelism and discipleship program as well as urgent physical
resources (Personal Hygiene, Medicines, i.e., Excedrin / Advil / Antibiotics of any kind, Clothing, i.e.,
socks, Back Packs with school supplies) all specifically for Pastoral families. Beginning Sunday, July 31,
boxes labeled “Cuba Missions” will be placed in Sunday School classes and one in the lobby at
Cornerstone for members to contrib-
ute and be a part of this mission. The
scheduled deadline for collection is
Aug. 15.
THE RESPONSE – The Cepeda’s
will be the conduit to provide these
much-needed resources to them.
More importantly, we will be minister-
ing, uplifting, affirming and letting
them know that they are not alone!
During this trip there will be joint plan-
ning for a Sowing Seeds of Joy 2023
Cuba Mission trip comprised of a well
-trained, organized USA team.
THE TIMING – The Cepeda’s are re-
questing from God’s faithful to sow
into this mission trip. All requested
donations should be received no later
than August 15.
