Liturgy Other
We Celebrate Being Brothers to Each
A major part of the student life here at CBA is of course the liturgies we celebrate here in our own gym together. They serve to bind us as a religious community. They allow us to get together in something which is a central part of many of our lives, our religions.
God has blessed us with a zest for partici pation, on the behalf o f the students. In the liturgies, God has blessed us with the roles are many and varied. You can volunteer for any position, they are all available. You can be an altar boy, a singer, a lector, or a per son just attending the mass which, of
course, is the most important role of all. Liturgies also provide us the benefit of experiencing a mass together. It allows us to listen to the Word of God and feel that much closer to our neighbor. It unifies the CBA community. It is not very often that we the members of the CBA community
are able to get together to celebrate a mass. We are from many different areas and thus
many of us don’t go to the same church. We as friends and brothers are able to exchange peace, receive the Holy Eucha rist together, and celebrate the important
Holy Days together as a school. This is im portant because we as part of the CBA com munity need this religious unification. We are unified in many other aspects whether it be athletic, social, or scholastic and it just fills the missing piece of our whole.
