in Academics
The National Honor Society in­ ducted a new group of members last spring. There is certain criteria for in­ duction, and many responsibilities once you become a member.
Activities which the members are required to choose from are student tutoring, assisting in the front office, assisting in the library, etc. The mem­ bers show true leadership among
their peers. Added to the duties they perform in school, they also help or­ ganize the Honors Night at Temple Adath Yeshurun. The young men of this organization are of strong char­ acter and have diversified interests in activities both in school and outside.
The NHS is an organization that not only recognizes its members as socially active and academically in­ clined, but it also serves to organize the members into a solid unit which can and does serve society as a whole.
