This year’s Varsity Lacrosse team faced one of its toughest seasons ever. With competition like top- ranked J-D and F-M, first year coaches Frank Barton and Jim McKormic figured that the team’s lack of experience would not take them that far but gave it their best shot. Despite the loss of many close games the Brothers never gave up, fighting it out to the very end.
Leading the energetic attack was Marty Coyne assisted by Mike Pil- son and sophomore, Mike Moran. The eager midfield was led by Mike Herring, Charlie Michaud and Jim Burns while the strong defense of Tom Anderson, Bob Smyth and Mark White helped goalie Mike Adornato. Promising future talent con sisted of Steve Sherlock, Barney Barnhill, Steve Socia, Sean Murphy
and Tom Dadey.
In respect for the 1985 lacrosse
season, the players put their disap pointing 0-15 record behind them and look to make a comeback next year.
