The Junior Varsity baseball team struggled through a very difficult season, even considering the possession of a great deal of individual talent. The team had trouble putting it all together for a full seven innings and ended the season with a disap­ pointing record of 3 wins and 17 losses.
The team was once again skippered by Coach Kevin Conroy. Offensively, the team was led by the hitting of Dino Tognoni. Neal Shanahan pro­ vided the basis for the defense with his fine pitch­ ing. Additional support was given by Joe Saw- miller and by the relief pitching of Bill Blaisdeil. Other outstanding performances were given by
Mike Sgobbo and Pete Pappas with timely hit­ ting and super fielding.
