A Year of Learning
BA students formed their first ever Girls’
Varsity Volleyball Team this year. Led by
C Coach Jewitt and captains Gretel Monreal,
Megan Popkess, and Stephanie Hancock, the team
had a challenging season, with a record of 2-16.
Although their record may be disappointing, the

Sweet Success
his year’s Modified Volleyball team came
out on top from last year’s one win to
this year’s five wins and one loss. The
new coach. Coach Chris, contributed to the team’s
success. He helped encourage the players in the
winning season.
The Team was lead by eighth graders, Nicole
Federico, Beth Horlander, and Sandra Lampuri,
adding to the team’s success. Although the team
was big, the players quickly became friends. Next
year the Varsity team can look forward to getting
some great players.
