 Some teachers lessened their load by preparing their lesson plans during school hours. Mrs. Nor­ ton is not happy with this latest interruption.
Tests require hours of study, if one wants to do well. Hadiya Johnson dis­ plays a confident smile because she is ready to ace this test.
Distractions are easy to find when one doesn’t feel up to finishing his work. Kevin Dougherty gazes at his bandaged arm and wonders when it will heal.
An easy assignment can usually be done in class. Karl Hickson rechecks his finished work to assure himself that it was done correctly.
Retreats gave students time to relax and to be­ come better acquainted. Luke McDermott, John McGowan, and Mr. Schnipp are glad to take the day off to do so.
