As the term underclassmen seems to indicate, the Freshmen, Sophomores, and juniors have traditionally been eclipsed in the shadow of the Seniors. This, however, is no indication whatso ever, of the ability of these students to be outstanding. Though sometimes drowned in the flood of Senior activity, they play an important role in the casting of the CBA image. The "potential ability” which they possess often turns into "kinetic ability”. In such cases, the value and necessity of the underclassmen can be seen vividly. It is not uncommon to obtain a team or activity roster and discover that the particular event or activity is actually
anchored by a host of underclassmen. These students are prepar ing to take charge as the positions of major responsibility are vacated by the upperclassmen.
Dedication and spirit characterize these students, who recognize their position of being second to the Seniors. At the same time, however, they know of their tremendous potential and realize that one day, they will occupy the place to be left by the outgoing Seniors.
