Speedsters set mark
for the season
The sweat and strain of constant workouts and improved training brought the 1981 Spring Track within meters of winning the Cities League Championship. The highlight of the season was a number of fine performances by runnerJeff Jurick who came close to breaking ten minutes for the two mile run. Rich O'Neil who scored consistantly in the walk, speedster John Shahin and all purpose man Dave Grady.
Returning runners Mike Young, Ted Peiffer, and Don Broton are equipped with the experience necessary to im­ prove the team's performance. Coach Riordan can expect a fine output of energy next spring.
