Junior Varsity Football C.B.A. Grads Come Back for More
ur graduates cannot stay away from C.B.A. for very long. Coach
Charles, our newest addition to the school gymnasium, has relieved
Oour previous modified coach, who was also a C.B.A. graduate. Mr.
Charles, like many other of our faculty, is very qualified for his job, even
though he did not expect to end up here. He says that he "didn't think he'd
ever be back at C.B.A." However, as he puts it, "Once a Brother, always a
Brother."
Psyched to be back at the Academy, the coach hopes to make a difference
in the athletic program. Striving to see the winning tradition return to C.B.A.,
he "see's" improvement everyday. Being the coach of the modified football
team. Coach Charles foresees the Class of '98 as being exceptional in each
sport.
Mr. Charles has already had a profound effect upon our programs. As
the volleyball coach, he has "seen a 180 degree turn around." Only halfway
through the season, there have already been two wins, which is quite an
improvement over last year's no wins by the end of the season.
Coach has long range goals for C.B.A. and "intends to be a lifer"; being
here till the day he dies. Now that is C.B.A.'s spirit of undying loyalty.
The Brothers take the field be-
fore the second half begins.
Their spirits are renewed and
the team is ready to win.
It is a very suspenseful moment
as the Brothers' captains wait
for the coin toss. In this case
West Hill may have won the coin
toss, but the Brothers won the
game.
