Looking Good
he 1992-1993 season was the second for the girls' J.V.
volleyball team and the team has already shown a
drastic improvement. One reason has been the addi
Ttion to the CBA staff of Jeff Charles. Coach Charles
has brought a young and unskilled team together to perform
to their best potential. Of course, hard work and the leadership
of captains Mary Randall and Stephanie Hancock contribute
to the team's success.
There is a totally new outlook tor the season. Due to a great
attitude and great coaching, expectations are high for the girls
volleyball team this season.
Looking ahead, the team is planning to have both a varsity
and junior varsity team. Both teams will have girls with two
years of junior varsity experience. This experience on the varsity
team will bring victory and pride to the "Lady Brothers".
The girls volleyball team likes
to play games, but they also
know the importance of prac
ticing their strategies for up
coming games. Romy Genant
practices returning serves from
back court.
Mary Randall and Stephanie
Hancock take time out to dis
cuss medical emergencies that
may come up during the game.
The team puts the safety of their
players abave all else.
