 Miss Quilty, the moderator of
the Eric Trust Youth Group,
shows her enthusiasm during a
meeting. Along with all the
members of Eric Trust, Miss
Guilty works for racial harmo
ny in the C.B.A. community.
A Special Trust
ric Trust was an honors student at Not
tingham High School. He was well liked
Eby his friends and teachers, all of whom
were of different religions, cultures, back
grounds, colors, shapes, and sizes.
Eric was a unique and caring individual who
enjoyed being with his friends and playing
sports.
Tragically, as a freshman at Hamilton Col
lege, Eric Trust died of heart failure while run
ning.
Students at C.B.A. are joining together to
promote the fine qualities Eric displayed, in
cluding a respect for all types of people. The
Eric Trust Youth Group, (ETYG) with Jen Wolf
as President, Kelly Church as Vice President,
Anrena Irvin as Secretary, Howard Tang as
Treasurer, and Gretel Monreal as Publicity
Manager, began in 1992 under the direction
of Miss Theresa Quilty. The ETYG has displayed
posters to spread the word about C.B.A.'s new
organization and to familiarize both the student
body and faculty with the importance of treat
ing everyone equally. Looking towards the fu
ture, the ETYG plans to continue to promote
equality and tolerance and make C.B.A. a great
place to be.
