New Coach and a Young Team Prove That . . .
a losing season does not always tell the whole story. Although the JV Soc cer team did not emerge with a win ning record, there were many positive aspects to the season. Perhaps the most important of these was the nev- er-say-die attitude of Coach Robin
son’s squad. Even though the Broth ers got off to a slow start at the begin ning of the season, the team showed a marked improvement during their last games. Instead of folding to a tough Marcellus team, the Brothers stayed even with their strong oppo
nents. The squad posted a respect-^ | able tie in double-overtime behind the \ inspired play of Lee Jerry, who was' named team MVP. Jerry received as sistance from Greg Aumiller, Ted Barker, and Rick Kahute.
