P. 9
September witnessed the new arrivals begin the struggle for completion. The process was not easy and differed for each incoming part of the whole. But, with assistance from helpful faculty and friendly upperclassmen, former newcomers became an integral part of the six-year CBA experience. Initially overawed by the prospect of
falling in with the established whole, these new arrivals soon conformed to the roles that their veteran counterparts occupied before them.
As for those who returned from years past, expressions that ranged from disappointment
that summer had ended to the tired boredom of those who had heard it all before, soon trans formed themselves into a growing sense of excite ment and eagerness that always accompanies the beginning of a new year. Even schedules that could have been Greek and lockers that refused to obey couldn’t dampen the developing enthusiasm. For all the changes that took place, the greatest was the meshing of new and old parts to form an improved and dynamic whole — ready to face another CBA year.
