The midwinter months may bring forth smiles from the
avid skiiers but groans of dismay are all that are heard
from Centro riders who see their suburban counterparts
from exotic places like Liverpool and North Syracuse be
ing dismissed early because their worried school districts
are concerned about road conditions. Invariably, the car
drivers are heard to complain also as they see their most
convenient form of transportation sitting in the parking lot,
groaners as they see their classes dwindling in size as
2:30 approaches.
Yet, somehow, CBA faculty and students manage to
struggle through it all until spring comes and spirits take a
turn for the better. After all, June is just around the corner
useless until 2:30. Teachers usually join the growing list of
