Greetings from Vermont!

The closing line of our last Tags and Swipes entry read:

It is our hope that in my next entry we will be able to share with you all that we have a director and have
been able to recharter!

And with much joy I am able to report that my hopes have been fulfilled. Dave Bagley, an experienced
barbershopper, has been working with us for the past few months. He’s adjusting to dealing with a bunch
of women and the ways of Sweet Adeline’s while we’re adjusting to actually paying attention to him as
he stands in front of us waving his arms around. So far, it’s been going well - we’re having a lot of fun
and learning a ton!

We had a great time at both Whatchamacallits this winter - it was lovely to have a venue closer to our
home base and we are so excited for the upcoming Ed-You-Cation day which will also be fairly close to
home for us (thank you region 1!).

Although we didn’t compete this year, we sent a small contingent down to Springfield to cheer on those
who did. We were thrilled to see “our” Tricia up on stage with her primary chorus MVA and thrilled
that they are doing so well. We are really hoping to be on stage next year, hopefully with enough voices
to actually participate in the competition for the first time in many years!

We are starting to organize some performances as we regroup with our new director and new members.

It should be a fun summer!
