                Ingredients



                    2 cups all-purpose flour

                    ½ teaspoon baking soda
                    ½ teaspoon salt
                    2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, broken

                    into pieces
                    ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
                    ⅔ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
                    ⅓ cup white sugar
                    1 large egg

                    1 tablespoon red food coloring
                    ¾ cup sour cream
                    1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

                    Cream Cheese Frosting
                    ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
                    4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
                    ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
                    2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted




                Directions

                Step 1

                Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) with the rack in the
                middle position. Grease baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
                Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
