ABOUT THE AUTHOR






                EL LEN   JACKSON  received  her  culinar y  training  at  the  New  England

                Culinar y     Institute     before     working      as   a   pastr y   chef   for   twelve
                years  in  some  of  Portland’s  best  rest aurants.  She  is  a  cookbook
                author, food w riter, food stylist, and recipe developer. She sits on
                the  board  of  the  Portland  Farmers  Market  and  is  a  member  of
                Slow       Food      Portland,        Chefs       Collaborative,         International

                Association        of   Culinar y    Professionals,        and   Portland      Culinar y
                Alliance.  She  w rote  Th e  Chefs  Collaborative  Cookbook  (2013),  co-
                authored Th e Grand Central Baking Book (2009), and contributed

                to  Th e   P aley’s   P lace    Cookbook     (2008).    Most    recently,    she    is   the
                author of Th e L emon Cookbook, published by Sasqu atch Books in
                April 2015. She and her husband live in Portland, OR.
