To make plain cinnamon sugar, mix ½ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon

                  cinnamon and measure out the necessary amount (if substituting for the
                  amount in the packet, measure it and use it as a guide). Store any extra in a
                  small storage container.




                 Store these muffins, in a cake saver or under a glass dome, at room

               temperature for up to 5 days or freeze them, wrapped in aluminum foil or in a
               cake saver, for up to 6 months. Thaw the muffins overnight in the refrigerator
               before serving.

                  Granola is plenty sweet, so I don’t think you need to sprinkle the cinnamon
                  sugar mixture over the top of these muffins before baking. But should you
                  not want to waste ingredients, go ahead! Or save it to use when making
                  cinnamon toast.
