and  continue  to  mix  with  your  hands,  rubbing  the  butter  between
                your fingers until you have a crumbly streusel.
                   When the pie has baked for 35 minutes, remove it from the oven

                and gently pat the streusel over the filling. (The custard will not be
                set at this time.) Return the pie to the oven, and continue baking for
                about 40 more minutes, until the streusel has melted slightly into the
                custard and the cornflakes are crispy and brown. Let the pie cool to
                room temperature before enjoying.
