10 Use the black frosting to pipe a clock face onto each circle of

filling. To draw it in the style of the cupcakes from the photograph,
pipe roman numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions and a black dot

in the middle. Place each clock on top of a cookie.

11 Cover and chill cupcakes in the refrigerator until 1 hour before
serving. *

Serve to the citizens of Wonderland to ring in the new year!

* Cakes with cream cheese frosting must be chilled when

storing. However, it tastes best at room temperature. If making
ahead of time, be sure to allow 1 hour for cupcakes to rest at

room temperature before serving.

Note: Prep work for this recipe can be divided across multiple

days. The frosted cupcakes can be made up to 2 days in
advance (store covered and chilled). The Milanos and Oreos can

be decorated up to 1 day in advance. These can be covered and

stored at room temperature, then placed on cupcakes the day of
serving.
