LETTER FROM THE FOUNDATION PRESIDENT

Dear Friends,
We want to thank you for making 2019 a record setting year. Northridge Hospital Foundation has
been dedicated to supporting Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital Medical Center for over 44 years.
Did you know that when you give, you are joining a ministry that works every day to extend this same
kindness to people in our communities? The incredible heartfelt donations we received has allowed
us to purchase life-saving equipment and provided essential services to enrich the lives of our patients
at our Medical Center.
This past year, your generosity assisted us to:
• Expand the triage and lobby areas of Northridge Hospital’s Trauma and Emergency Departments to better
care for patients.
• Provide prenatal support to 612 women, including a parent coach, home visits and breastfeeding support.
• Offer therapeutic massages to boost well-being and comfort for 1,520 cancer patients
• Treat 350 under-served children to a special holiday celebration, complete with gifts from Santa.

We are grateful for the support of foundations, corporations, and individual donors who provide Northridge Hospital
Medical Center with a margin of excellence. These dollars are critical in ensuring that we continue to build healthy
communities.
