Absences shall be excused only for the following reasons:
(1) Personal illness
(2) Bereavement
(3) Family emergencies
(4) Observance of religious holidays
(5) Medical appointments. Proof may be required.
• If a student is to be absent for (2) or more consecutive days,
the student must notify the ACE program immediately. If the
student is absent for 3 or more consecutive days for reason of
illness, a doctor’s note is required to receive an excused
absence. Excessive unexcused absences may result in a
recommendation for dismissal from this institution. After
(3) days teachers will refer students to the office and may
recommended dismissal.
