Sadness and Joy Intertwined:
“Days, weeks, and months of sadness have left a great

emptiness inside me. The loss of my MOM during the
unprecedented pandemic (COVID-19) and unable to
attend her funeral have left me with excruciating pain.
That pain will live within me each day. That pain

extends to her not being here to relish in the news of
my accomplishment in getting My ACE Night School
DIPLOMA, and not just getting it, but in the #1 posi-
tion. Both announcements were only days apart, but I
know, besides God, who have brought me this far!”
