Definition of Tense

                         Tenses are verb forms in English that indicate





                                     the time of an event or action. They are





                           divided into four main tenses: Present, Past,





                                                             Future, and Past Future.





                      Each of these tenses is further divided into four





                                 types: Simple, Continuous, Perfect, and





                         Perfect Continuous. Understanding tenses is




                             essential for more targeted communication.
