Daniel Morgan Technology Center’s Machine
Tool Technology Instructor, Hal Garner, and
several of his students accepted a grant in
the amount of $4,000 from the Gene Haas
Foundation. Monies from the grant may be
used for NIMS certifications, SkillsUSA
competitions, scholarships, as well as
consumable tooling.
Fifth grade students from across the
District visited Daniel Morgan
Technology Center.
Thirteen welding students demonstrated Daniel Morgan Technology Center
their skills on April 19th and were
awarded 80 Spartanburg Community
College credits worth $14,448. These
students will have a spot reserved for
them in the SCC Welding Program that
will be good for 2 years.
