Bolts for Subframe, Smart

Applicable to Smart Fortwo (450).
The bolts are used to secure the subframe against further dropping when the latter
needs to be lowered. Necessary when performing work on the engine, e.g. on starter
motors, turbochargers etc.
Once the subframe has been supported (for example by means of a transmission jack)
the original bolts can be replaced with our KL-0379-10 - bolts for subframe. This will
enable the safe and correct lowering of the subframe by approx. 20cm.

Guide Sleeve Puller
Allows guide sleeves to be pulled out and knocked in without incurring any damage.
The puller works on the principle of an internal collet chuck.
In engine and gearbox engineering, so-called guide sleeves are used for the accurate
fixing of the housing halves. These guide sleeves, however, should not be installed or
removed with tongs or a hammer.
