Business in Unincorporated Areas
If you intend to operate a business which is located in the unincorporated areas of Kings County you will
probably need a Zoning or Home Occupation Permit which can be obtained from the Community Develop-
ment Agency. To get the application you will need to call the Community Development Department for the
County and schedule an appointment at 559-852-2670. We highly suggest speaking with the department as
zoning is determined by your speci c operations of business and last as long as your business operations do.
