THE ALAMO CITY
San Antonio has something for everyone throughout the year. Major events include
April’s Fiesta San Antonio, 10 days and nights of cultural celebration with street and
river parades; the Annual San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo in February; the Texas
Folk-life Festival in June; and decorating the River Walk during the Christmas season.
SAN ANTONIO MUSEUM OF ART
The Museum houses the largest and most
comprehensive collection of ancient
Egyptian, Greek and Roman, as well as
Asian, art in the southern United States.
MAJESTIC THEATRE
This wonderful theatre has been named
a state and national historic landmark.
It is one of the few remaining vintage,
atmospheric vaudeville movie palaces.
TOBIN CENTER FOR THE
PREFORMING ARTS
The Tobin Center is a state-of-the-art
multi-purpose 1,750-seat performance
hall, a 250-seat studio theater and an
outdoor performance plaza connected
to the River Walk with a water taxi portal.
SIX FLAGS FIESTA TEXAS
Fiesta Texas began as a show park and
still features musical revues ranging in
theme from country to Motown.
