DENTAL CLINIC
NSO operates a low-cost dental clinic, which provides affordable dental procedures and preventative care for individuals in the Oklahoma City and surrounding areas.
Our dental staff also participates regularly in outreach and education efforts in the community and local schools. These efforts include education and demonstration of proper dental hygiene, as well as free dental health and oral cancer screenings.
NSO’s Dental Clinic performs more than 9,000 procedures every year

The NSO Dental Clinic has partnered with the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry to create a new dental extern program within our clinic. Dental students from OU come and work alongside NSO’s dentists and hygienist, which allows the students to give back to the community while gaining valuable, real-world experience.
Heather Wheeler, Dental Clinic Hygienist, saw 4,623 children and 5,528 adults in the Oklahoma City area through NSO’s 2016 dental outreach program. Within this program, Heather performs free screenings, distributes oral hygiene kits and educates on the importance of oral health. Heather also does preventative dental care and performed 1,309 preventative procedures.
