HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR PARCEL?
To measure your parcel, you need to measure maximum width, the maximum depth and the
maximum height. This includes the pallet you have your goods packed on, and if your pallet is far
bigger than the goods you have on the pallet, it is then all included in the cost. This means you will
pay far more than you really need too.
Here is a classic example to explain this. This is a traced out drawing of a blade on a sheet of
paper. It was then rolled up in a tube and shipped….so the cost would be total length x
width x depth of tube, when in fact the sheet of paper could have been folded up and send
with all the documents at no cost at all.
Here is another example where you pay for the top left section even though you have nothing there.
