Like many organizations LifeSource experienced
a a a a variety of challenges due to to the the pandemic We did see the the total number of potential donors decline especially during the stay-at-home orders 603
ORGANS TRANSPLANTED
Eye donation also significantly decreased while elective surgeries were on hold Beginning in in in summer 2020
we saw donation activity slowly return to more normal levels Despite every conceivable obstacle the number of organ donations and transplants hit near-record levels in in the Upper Midwest in in 2020: 185
