Love Makes the Difference!
WORSHIP
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works: Not forsaking the assem-
bling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the
more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10: 24-25
In addition to our resident ministers, Bethel was
privileged to hear stimulating sermons from guest
ministers. On Sunday, November 4, 2018, a few
weeks after Michael, a category 5 hurricane, made
landfall in Panama City, Florida, producing un-
precedented destruction, the Reverend Charlette
Robinson, pastor of Greater Bethel AME Church,
blessed Bethel with a motivating sermon from Deu-
teronomy 30:15-20, Taken by Surprise. She provided
biblical instruction and guidance that Christians
should follow when faced with life-altering challeng-
es. Other guest proclaimers of the Word were the
Reverend Dr. Joseph A. Hooper, pastor of St. Luke
AMEC, Newark, NJ, who preached on Family and
Friends Sunday, and Presiding Elder Tony Hans-
berry, Suwannee-North District.

glect meeting together. Bethel thanks God
for the many opportunities He provided our Church
family to meet together each week to exalt, to praise
and to magnify Him, to share our faith with one an-
other, and to celebrate the good news of His saving
grace. We are grateful to our pastor, the Reverend Dr.
Julius H. McAllister, Jr., for providing informative,
relative, and inspiring messages that strengthened us
spiritually and encouraged us in our Christian walk
and service. We were also privileged to hear the
Word of the Lord preached by associate ministers,
the Reverend Dr. Ronald Glenn, the Reverend Dr.
Eric Little, the Reverend Dr. Michael Winstead, the
Reverend William Proctor, as well as our licentiates,
Brother Warren Bowers and the Reverend Marian
Ellis, who was ordained as an Itinerant Deacon at the Reverend Charletta Robinson, Pastor
154th Session of the Florida Annual Conference, and Greater Bethel AMEC, Panama City, FL
for the spiritual guidance of the Reverends David
Williams and Richard Woodward. Although Rever- The Lenten Worship Series featured seven
