INTRODUCTION

A. TITLE DESCRIPTION

Do you guys know about asking and giving advice? Asking advice is an expression in
English that is used to ask for advice or input from other people regarding a particular matter.

Giving suggestion or advice is an expression in English that is used to give advice or input to

other people regarding certain matters. In addition, a response in response to the input provided
is also required. Both the response agrees to the advice given and the response rejects.

Do you know where usually in what situations asking and giving is used? Asking and giving

advice can be used in formal or informal situations. If you use it in a formal situation, you can
use it in a school setting when talking to the teacher. Meanwhile, in informal situations, you can

use it when talking to friends.

B. PRECONDITION

In the previous material, what is asked and giving advice has been explained, examples of

expressions used in formal and informal situations, as well as responses that can be used. To be

able to understand this module, you are expected to have read the material about asking and
giving advice. Also, try to understand asking and giving advice. If you have met these

prerequisites, then you will be able to make examples of asking and giving advice.
