Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Dietrich Bonhoeffer became a disciple of Jesus in relatively more recent times, during Nazi

Germany. He was the son of intelligent and cultured people and was brought up in Berlin. He

learned about the Christian faith from them and, at fourteen, decided to study theology.
