You need: base 10 blocks, flats, longs and units; place value board; calculator
o Player A picks up some base 10 flats, longs and units and lays them out
on the place value board.
o Player B has to add enough pieces to the chart to make the amount
worth the same as a block (1000).

o Player B finds a way to use the calculator to check.
o They change over. Player B puts out some pieces and Player A makes
them up to 1000.
