Jump backs A game for 2 players
You need: strip of card about 65 cm long and 10 cm wide; 2 counters;
cards 1 - 20 from RM 100 (you don't need the 0 card); envelope
D Together make a number line like this on a strip of card.
Make the distance between each pair of numbers 3 cm.

D Place the cards in an envelope.
D Take it in turns to play.
D On your turn, take 2 cards from the envelope,
then look at the numbers on them.
D Put counters on the same two numbers on your number line.
D Tell your partner how many you will have to count back from
the higher number to land on the lower number.
Then check your answer.
D If you are right, you win both cards.
Your partner wins them if you are wrong.
D Continue until all the number cards are used up.
D The player with more cards wins the game.
D Play the game again.
