Start to finish A game for 2 players

You need: 5 Multilink cubes each (1 green, 1 red, 3 blue); screen (you
could use a large book); copy of RM 57 each

o Decide who is player A and who is player B.

o Use the screen to make sure you can't see your partner's grid.

o Player A

• Put the green cube on Start and
the red cube on Finish.

• Put the blue cubes in any other
squares on the grid to be
Landing Places.

• Explain to Player B how to move
from Start to Finish, visiting each
Landing Place on the way.

Give instructions like:
Slide 5 squares North,
then 2 squares East!

Player B

Build a tower of your cubes like this!

• Put your tower on Start.
red-
r • Follow Player A's directions.

blue • Before you move on to
a new square, leave behind
L the bottom cube from the tower.
This is to mark the position.

9ree~ • After 4 directions your red
cube should reach Finish.

U Look at your partner's grid.
Do the landing places match on both grids?
If not, what went wrong?
Can you do better next time?
