Your own tessellation rectangles of card,
sticky tape, scissors,
large sheets of paper
Make your own tessellation.
Cut a rectangle of card into two pieces
from one corner to another, like this.
Translate the cut-out piece
to the opposite side.
• Flip over the cut-out piece and
tape it in place.
• Cut another piece from one side, like this.
Translate the cut-out piece to the
opposite side and tape it in place.
Draw round your shape and try to make it tessellate.
