The Unisa Research Commons is available on the 4th level of the Pretoria campus library for the convenience of Unisa master’s and doctoral students. It offers the following services and facilities:
• Wireless access to the internet
• Computers
• Reading area
• Coordinates training in the use of electronic databases • Provides research support to clients

What is Turnitin?
Turnitin is a web-based teaching tool used by lecturers and students to check for originality and to prevent plagiarism. The Turnitin website can be found at: www.turnitin.com
Access to Turnitin
Registered Unisa M&D students are enrolled automatically within their respective colleges. ThisenablesthestudentstouploadtheiracademicpaperstotheTurnitindatabase. Students LOG IN directly online using their myLife email addresses. Should a student have difficulty logging in, the Unisa Turnitin Team can be contacted via email at turnitin@unisa.ac.za
Note: There is no need for the student to create an account on the Turnitin website.
