After several years in the Air Training Corps, I completed National
Service Training at RAAF Base Pearce, Western Australia given the
Rank of Corporal. I joined the RAAF Active Reserve in 1956, and was
Commissioned a Pilot Officer (O54288). I served with Air Training
Corps Flights in Perth, Albany, Sydney and Brisbane (1956 – 1969)
