Why we love them:
What they do:
They celebrate people with down
Sands helps educate and support people
with down syndrome as well as their syndrome as the amazing individuals
families. that they are! Every year (with the
exception of 2020, which was virtual)
they host a buddy walk, which usually

has pictures of each individual that we
are honoring along the walk. Last time
we went, there were cheer leaders ,
signs and so many people cheering each
other on. My Niece, Harlee, felt like a
rock star!
