What will Heaven be like
What would Heaven be like to you?
No more bills to pay, or at least for once things would go your way
Maybe no more pain that get in the way of the things you would like to do today
Or live in a world where no one
thinks twice about being nice
Where they get along and feel they belong Where no more violence
and hatred can be found
And there is enough food to go around
No more stealing, lying, crying or dying From dusk to dawn the list goes on
In the beginning this world was perfect in every way
Created this way by God for Adam and Eve to tend for each day Without sin and death from the time they took their first breath He put them in the garden of Eden to be fruitful and to multiply He gave them a day of rest so that in His loving presence
they would always abide walking with Him side by side
When they wandered away from Him one day
being tricked in believing a lie,
that they would not surely die,
but become all knowing like God on high
This made Him sad deep down inside,
when He came looking for them, they went to hide
Because they let sin in, He knew they would eventually die,
it would be hard for Him to say goodbye
While contemplating this and more, have you ever wondered,
what Heaven would be like
and who it would be for?
Would it be like what you dreamed of,
or would it be so much more
beautiful and glorious beyond compare
With magnificent mansions waiting for you there Where eternal life with Jesus you would share
From that glorious day when Jesus will appear
and you are caught up with your love ones in the air With no more sickness or death to fear
to spend eternity with Him there
If this is what Heaven will be like
I can’t wait to get there, how about you?
