Colour palette
The colours in use have gone
through a dramatic change.
No more is India spotting only
reds and maroons. With the
millennial making ‘experience-
n-experiment’ their mantra, girls
are spotting unlike shades. The
English shades are not new to
the Indian palette but has seen a
stronger come back this season.
Maybe that is what explains Bajaj
experimentation with shades
that are unheard of in India.
“Our colour palette reflects our
inspiration for this season. We
have used soft pastels from mint
greens to pinks. The English
colours compliment Indian skin
tones in the way that more women
are experimenting with pastel and
skin tones.”
Riddhi Mehra has used Ivory, Ecru,
Champagne, Jewel, Sapling Blue
to Emerald Green, Persian Red and
Topaz to adorn the new collection
that was showcased at the Lakme
Fashion Week Winter Collection
2019.
